Job Description:
Staff Information Desk helping patrons and answering telephone inquiries and email requests for assistance with reference questions, research work and using library resources including the OPAC and Internet accessible information resources Teach instructor-requested classes on accessing the biomedical literature, searching MEDLINE on Ovid, and using MINERVA, the University's (Voyager) online public access catalog Give library tours and orientations Design library instruction handouts Plan, publicize and conduct “house calls” and workshops on how to use MINERVA and MEDLINE for the Health Sciences campus Act as library liaison to the School of Nursing
